WEEK 1: BRING IT:
Bring everything you currently have: scribbles, ideas, even just your emotional state. Bring your creative block if you have it. Bring your excuses and your reasons why not… it’s all welcome and it’s all going to become part of what you create.
WEEK 2: MAKE IT:
Getting right into it, we start getting our hands dirty. This is the time to not overthink, but just get into making. Experiment, screw it up, play. Let yourself enjoy the act of creating, while breaking through the inertia. Arguably, the hardest week, but the most rewarding.
WEEK 3: SHAPE IT:
This is where we look more critically at what we made. What worked, what didn’t work? How successful were we? What changed from our original intention? What skill could we work on to be more effective in reaching our aims?
Now we go back and see what improvements can be made in a week.

WEEK 4: SHARE IT:
This is our final show and tell. We practice talking about our work and sharing the story of it. This is part of making something more accessible and connecting for our audience, and for any one we may be sharing our work with for grants, art shows, etc.

By the end of these 4 weeks, you’ll have synthesized what is already alive within you and your life into the work you’ve been meaning to make, and shared it with a community of like-minded creative people who will be cheering you on the whole time.
We make because we must. Because when things feel too busy, too overwhelming, art is the place we can go to commune with the seen and the unseen, our deepest selves and the world around us. We get to build our self-trust, our confidence and hone our expression to make meaning.
